Carbon Canaries' songs find a home somewhere between dusty highways and blurry city lights. They’re the result of three musicians living in a house and creating music together. The familiar or, maybe just forgotten, soul-rattlings permeate their sound. They draw others to that place of good friends and memorable nights together.
In the days of coal mining, the miners would bring a caged canary with them to detect poisonous gases before it harmed the workers. The canaries would sing their melodies as a siren song to impending danger. With the world on a teetering edge of tension, we hope our music brings a message of hope in the midst of dangerous times.
